case study

Shaina's coaching path helped her clarify her purpose, motivation and joy and resourced her innate ability to change her work life. Hear how Insightfully helped her find more joy, more freedom, more creativity and successfully transition from social worker to Chief of Staff.

What our
members say

"I am more conscientious of the things that I find emotionally taxing and take precautions to limit their effect. I began to see myself less as a "lone wolf" and more of a team player and connector of people, and now I lean more into those attributes. My journey with Insightfully gave me a more complete picture of who I am at work. It facilitated my ability to prioritize the things I want to accomplish, and helped me see a clear path toward the impact I want to make at an organization and on a team."

Frequently asked questions

  • How would you describe the training approach?
We follow the C.E.P. model which stands for concepts, engagement, practice. Our training is hands-on with a focus on building competence in application. We ensure a critical review of concepts allowing participants to explore different points of view and integrate concepts into their specific coaching philosophy and worldview. Engagement is facilitated at the individual level, through the practice of self reflection and, at the group level, through group discussions. Practice is integrated through individual assignments and group work.
  • How is this training delivered?
This training includes group coaching sessions, workshops and access to optional 1:1 coaching sessions (office hours on a first come first serve basis). It is delivered live online and will also be recorded. Missed group coaching sessions and workshops can be replaced with recorded sessions and 1:1 coaching sessions (office hours) with advanced notice. Recordings will be available 2 to 3 days after the live session.
  • How are small groups for breakout sessions and group work assigned?
Small Groups are assigned prior to the start of the training based on a criteria that includes tendency type, communications style and types of clients coached.
  • How do office hours work?
Office hours (1:1 coaching sessions) scheduling is on a first come, first serve basis. Office hours are offered in 30, 60, and 90 minute intervals. Details about how to schedule will be provided during onboarding.
  • What is included in post training support?
When you enroll you will have the option to choose 1, 3 or 5 hours of post training support. The type of support you need will be discussed and solidified during your first session. However, support can include supervision, 1-to-1 coaching or individualized training focused on coaching journey design. Post training support starts March 1 and is available until June 30 (holiday blackout dates will be provided during onboarding).
  • What is the termination policy?
Terminate your enrollment no later than 24 hours before the first day of training and you will receive a refund less the deposit fee of 150 USD. No refunds will be provided after the first day of training. Instead you will have the option to withdraw and rejoin training within a 6 month period from your withdrawal date. Please note that the first day for the purpose of termination is Feb 3rd for all cohorts.
  • Will I have access to the training after I complete it?
Access to recorded videos and other resources will be accessible for 4 months after the training ends on Feb 29, 2024. The last day to view recorded videos and other resources will be June 30, 2024
  • What is the process to obtain certification in journey design?
You will then have until June 30, 2024 to submit three journey designs for evaluation as well as two reflective assignments. For the first reflective assignment you will need to explore the integration of journey design into your practice. For the second reflective assignment you will share how you developed each journey design. Please note that you can access the post-training support as you work towards certification.
  • How do I know if I am ready for this coaching experience?
This experience is right for you if you are able to commit to setting aside at least 1 hr a day to focus on self care, wellbeing and wellness.
  • What is the difference between a session and a workshop?
Sessions build awareness and understanding of strategies, tactics and tools, which are then integrated for use through workshops.
  • What happens if I miss a live session or workshop?
All sessions and workshops will be recorded. Participants will receive a notification when recorded sessions and workshops are ready to view.
